About the Residence Hall Association
|
We are the Residence Hall Association for the University of Idaho. RHA is comprised of every student who lives in the residence halls. We run events on campus throughout the year for the benefit of all students who live on campus. In addition, officers facilitate communication between residents and ResLife staff, involved faculty, and other employees of the University of Idaho. |

RHA Council is comprised of the Area Representatives of all of the residence halls, the E-Board, and ex-officio members who consist of one NRHH representative, one IACURH regional delegate, one ASUI representative, and an advisor. The council meets once a week on Mondays and addresses items such as upcoming on-campus events, ways to get involved in the community, constitutional amendments, and the day to day issues of living in the residence halls. RHA is governed at the individual hall level by the hall's association (that's the people living in the hall). Residents maintain a Constitution, elect officers to the hall's executive board (e-board), and decide how to spend hall funds. Residents can be a part of their hall's e-board if they'd like, but it doesn't take being a part of the e-board to be involved. You can also be involved just by participating in hall and RHA events. |

Our mission is to increase general awareness of who we are and to improve the existing image through communication between various campus organizations, Residence Life, and the Moscow community. We are dedicated to the success and goals of the residents. Through partnership with others, our mission is to provide resources to residents in the form of service, leadership, programs, and a voice of positive influence. This is accomplished through positive motivation, fun, and increasing resident enthusiasm. |
