The Golden Joes

What are the Golden Joes?

When looking at this page you might find yourself not knowing what the Golden Joes are, or even what the significance is. The Golden Joes award ceremony began in the Spring semester of the 2001 school year, here at the University of Idaho. The purpose of this event is to recognize the hard work and effort students put into the Residence Halls, in order to make a difference. The Golden Joes ceremony is a way the Residence Hall Association (RHA) can award students, staff, and faculty members around you.

Even though this event is so great, we still need your support. Every year student, staff, and faculty nominate each other to receive a Golden Joe. Without there hard work at writing award nominations we wouldn’t know who to recognize. Please give us a hand in finding the most awesome and spirited students of the Residence Halls.

Below are a few different award nomination forms that you can fill out and submit to the RHA Office, or email to SAMK@UIDAHO.EDU

Nominate your friends, your roommates, or yourself. There are dozens of nominees, are you one of them?

DEADLINE: All nominations will be accepted until midnight on Monday, April 2nd, 2012 at the Residence Hall Association Office, which is located in the basement of Wallace Complex next to The VandalUnderground. Any applications turned in after midnight on Tuesday, April 3rd will not be accepted for judging. (There are NO exceptions.)
